This easy green smoothie tastes like summer—fresh, light and full of sunshine. Sweet pea shoots and juicy pear mix with kale (or greens) for an alkalizing, hydrating, blood-building drink that your body will thank you for.
Try to buy everything organic. Here’s why.
1-2 handfuls of pea shoots (or any sweet sprouts you like)
1 ripe pear of your choice, cored, seeds removed
1 large leaf of kale (or 2 handfuls of mixed greens)
2 cups pure water
1 tbsp raw, wild-harvested honey or…
4 Medjool dates, pitted (here’s how)
1-2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Toss all prepared ingredients into the blender and mix until smooth.
I like to make a big batch to load up empty kombucha bottles—I take drinks like this one with me when I leave the house for the day.
Store any leftover in the fridge and just shake up if it separates.
