Pay it Forward: The YU Membership Fund

YU Membership Fund

Everyone deserves to have access to empowering tools, resources and inspiration that can help them prevent, and even reverse illness.

I often receive notes from the community from folks who are struggling with the outrageous costs associated with illness and conventional treatment. These people are looking for alternatives to health and wellness, but they don’t quite have the means to buy the resources available in the YU Membership quite yet.

Every time I hear from YU, I want to do something. So, I have an idea…

Here’s how we can help, together. I’m going to start setting aside a portion of purchases made on this site to pay for these folks.

How it works:

1. With every YU Membership purchase, I will donate a portion of each purchase—at this time $25—to the YU Membership Fund.

2. Contact me if you’d like to officially nominate someone who would benefit from YU Membership.

Please follow these steps exactly and include (no more than 200 words):
• Your full name
• The full name of your nominee
• Please state your preference: A.) that I keep the nomination private OR B.) I can share information anonymously or C.) I can share information with first names only.
• Why you, or your nominee deserves membership
• Anything else you’d like to share (photos, video, words, drawings, thoughts, etc.)

3. Register here so I can send you announcements and opportunities re: the fund.

4. Comment below to share your story, or skip this step if privacy is of utmost importance. Sharing stories is inspiring for others, so that’s why I encourage it, but know that it absolutely does not make a difference in who is awarded funds for membership.

5. I don’t know how this idea will evolve (hopefully beautifully), so I reserve the right to change this offering in any way at any time. And know that I will do my very best to respond to everyone, but if I can’t, please be assured that I appreciate and respect your nomination. I will be giving membership to those that need it the most and I know that my job will be a tough one—I don’t take it lightly. So, much love to YU all no matter what.

This is a new idea, so please, if you have any thoughts on how to make this offering better, please share with a comment below. I’d love to hear from YU.
