GoTime Cacao Superfood Smoothie

Packed with essential nutrients—including trace minerals that improve energy, mental clarity, fight disease and improve emotional balance—the GoTime Cacao SuperFood Smoothie will keep you satisfied for hours. We’ve loaded this recipe with some of the best SuperFoods, for super-powered nutrition that is easily assimilated into your body (blending gives your stomach a break). I drink some in the morning or I’ll refrigerate it and have some the next day. Keeps for 3 days in the fridge, but ideally it is enjoyed fresh.

Psst: you can also freeze this smoothie for SuperFood popsicles. Yum.

Makes: approx:4 cups  |  Preparation Time: 10-20mins

Ingredients:
Try to buy everything organic. Here’s why.
1/2 cup young coconut meat
1 cup purified ice or coconut water ice cubes
3 cups coconut water (fresh or store-bought)
1 tbsp maca powder
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1/4 cup Goji berries
1 tbsp organic hemp seeds
1 tsp Spirulina Crystal Flakes (our fave and least sea-tasting)
1/4 cup raw cacao nibs
5 pitted Medjool dates (here‘s how to pit them)
1 tbsp cold-pressed coconut oil
2 tbsp raw, wild-harvested honey or grade B maple syrup

Let’s Get Started:
Place all of your ingredients into the blender, except the ice, and blend until smooth. Once all ingredients are smooth, then add ice, and blend for a few seconds until smoothie-like. Pour in your favorite glass and enjoy.
